Why Eevee Makes a Great First Deck
Eevee is famous for its many Evolutions, and Eevee ex brings that popularity to the table as a Pokémon ex. Like every Pokémon ex, it is powerful but gives your opponent two Prize cards instead of one when it is Knocked Out, as Bulbapedia’s Pokémon ex guide explains. Learning when to attack and when to protect your ex is one of the first skills a new player picks up, and a fixed deck makes it easy to practise. Once you know the deck well, you can start swapping in cards from your own collection to make it yours.
Japanese Starter Sets for Collectors
These Japanese cards can’t be used in English-language tournaments, yet Eevee products are always popular with collectors. It is also a thoughtful gift for a young Eevee fan: one box, one deck, ready to go, with no extra cards needed. Pair it with the Meowscarada ex and Zoroark ex starter sets for friendly battles at home, with each player taking a different deck.
