What our Pokémon TCG guides cover

Every guide focuses on one set, product or card, and the facts in it come from official Pokémon announcements and established card databases. There are three main kinds:

Where to start if you are new to collecting

Begin with our guide to the 30th anniversary Pokémon set, released worldwide on 16 September 2026, then read the Destined Rivals comparison to see how a booster box, an Elite Trainer Box, a booster bundle and a blister compare. After that, pick the set whose artwork you like best. Pokémon 151 and Prismatic Evolutions are two of the special sets we are asked about most.

English, Japanese and Korean releases

Many of the sets on this page also exist in Japanese or Korean, often under a different name and in a different box size. Where that applies, the guide explains how the products compare, so you can tell a Japanese 151 box from an English 151 booster bundle before you buy.

The guides are here to help you choose. When you know what you want, our shop pages list everything we sell, with stock shown on each product: English Pokémon cards, Japanese Pokémon cards, Korean Pokémon cards, Chinese Pokémon cards and the Pokémon 30th Celebration range.
