Description
Buy the Japanese EB-02 Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open Anime 25th collection, the Extra Booster that marks a quarter of a century of the One Piece TV anime. Bandai released it in Japan on 25 January 2025, and the English edition followed on 9 May 2025.
What’s in the Japanese EB-02 Booster Box
- 24 sealed Anime 25th collection booster packs
- 6 Japanese cards per pack, 144 cards in total
- 87 card types: 1 Leader, 29 Commons, 21 Rares, 9 Super Rares, 1 Secret Rare and 26 Special cards
An Anniversary Extra Booster
According to the official Japanese EB-02 page, many cards carry brand-new illustrations drawn by animators from the TV series, and a group of cards takes its inspiration from past anime theme songs. The new Leader is Monkey D. Luffy, and the set also tries colour combinations not seen before, opening up fresh deck ideas. With 26 Special cards in a set of 87, there’s a lot of artwork to collect.
How Extra Boosters Differ
Extra Boosters are smaller than the main OP sets and have no Uncommon rarity, so each box concentrates on one theme. EB-02 suits anime fans and collectors who enjoy alternate art more than chasing a full main-set card list. Pack contents are random, so no specific card is guaranteed.
The Japanese edition reached shops more than three months before the English one, so collectors who follow the Japanese schedule saw the anniversary artwork first.
