Buy the Japanese OP-02 Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open the second One Piece Card Game booster set. Its Japanese title, 頂上決戦, refers to the Summit War arc, and it is known in English as Paramount War. The Japanese edition released on 4 November 2022, with English following on 10 March 2023.
What’s in the Japanese OP-02 Booster Box
- 24 sealed OP-02 booster packs
- 6 Japanese cards per pack, 144 cards in total
- 121 card types: 8 Leaders, 45 Commons, 30 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 10 Super Rares and 2 Secret Rares
- 27 parallel cards
Black Cards and Summit War Leaders
The official Japanese OP-02 page explains that Black, first seen in the Navy starter deck (ST-06), makes its full booster debut here, alongside new multicolour Leader combinations. Leaders in the set include Edward Newgate, Monkey D. Garp, Kin’emon and Sanji, and many cards support the Navy deck. Contents are random, so no particular card is guaranteed.
Japanese or English?
Both editions share the same set, but the Japanese box reached shops around four months earlier and uses six-card packs printed in Japanese. Collectors often pick Japanese for its original printing, while players entering English-language events usually choose English cards. Check the language rules of any event before you build a deck from these.
Opening Tips
With Whitebeard, Garp, Kin’emon and Sanji among the Leaders, it pays to decide on a direction early. Sort pulls by colour as you go, keep the new Black cards together if you’re building a Navy deck, and sleeve parallels and Secret Rares the moment they appear.
