Description
Buy the Japanese OP-05 Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open 新時代の主役, the fifth One Piece Card Game booster set, whose Japanese title translates as Protagonist of the New Era. It released in Japan in 2023.
What’s in the Japanese OP-05 Booster Box
- 24 sealed OP-05 booster packs
- 6 Japanese cards per pack, 144 cards in total
- Leaders, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares and parallel cards from the set
Leaders to Look Out For
The official OP-05 card list shows Leaders including Sabo, Belo Betty, Donquixote Rosinante and Sakazuki, giving the set a strong Revolutionary Army presence alongside the Navy. That spread makes OP-05 interesting for players who want to try very different decks from a single display. Pack contents are random, so no specific card is guaranteed, and the official list is the place to check every card number.
Buying Japanese One Piece Boxes
Japanese displays hold 24 packs of 6 cards, and every card is printed in Japanese. Collectors value the original Japanese printing, and casual players enjoy the cards just as much once they know the effects. If you plan to enter organised play, check which card languages the event allows before you build.
Opening Tips
OP-05 Leaders pull in very different directions, from Sabo’s Revolutionary Army to Sakazuki and the Navy, so it helps to choose a favourite first. Set aside that Leader’s support cards as you open, sleeve parallels and Secret Rares at once, and keep duplicates for trades with friends building the other Leaders.
