Description
Buy the Japanese Jet Black Spirit Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open the Shadow Rider half of a Sword & Shield twin release. Jet-Black Spirit (S6K), also translated as Jet-Black Geist, released in Japan on 23 April 2021 alongside its partner set, Silver Lance (S6H).
What’s in the Japanese Jet Black Spirit Booster Box
- 30 sealed Japanese Jet-Black Spirit booster packs
- 5 cards per pack, 150 cards per box
- Japanese-language cards from the S6K expansion
Set background comes from Bulbapedia’s entry on Jet-Black Spirit and Chilling Reign. Cards are randomly inserted, so no specific card is guaranteed.
Shadow Rider Calyrex and the Crown Tundra
Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX is the star of Jet-Black Spirit, mirroring Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX in Silver Lance. Both riders come from The Crown Tundra expansion of Pokémon Sword and Shield, where Calyrex rides either the ghostly Spectrier or the icy Glastrier. Collectors often keep the two boxes side by side, since each set leans into its own rider and steed.
Jet-Black Spirit and English Chilling Reign
The English Chilling Reign expansion was built from cards in Silver Lance, Jet-Black Spirit and the Peerless Fighters subset. Buying the Japanese Jet Black Spirit Booster Box gives you the Shadow Rider side in its original Japanese form, with five-card packs and compact Japanese packaging. Japanese cards are not legal in English-language tournaments, so they suit collectors and binder builders.
