About ST21-014
The official card list shows ST21-014 as a Super Rare from Starter Deck EX Gear 5 (ST-21), and records the ONE PIECE magazine Vol. 20 supplement as a separate source of the card. Owning the magazine version gives Luffy collectors a different route to a card many players know from the Gear 5 deck.
Starter Deck EX Gear 5 was built around Luffy’s Gear 5 form, one of the most celebrated moments in recent chapters. Keeping the magazine printing next to the deck printing makes a neat pair in a binder, and Japanese magazine supplements rarely reach UK shops. It is an easy way to add a second version of a well-known card to a Luffy collection.
Magazine Promos in Japan
ONE PIECE magazine is a Japanese publication, and its supplements are distributed with the magazine in Japan rather than in booster packs. That makes magazine cards a popular niche for collectors who want every printing of a favourite character. Sleeve the card on arrival and keep it in a toploader to protect the corners.
