Why Collect Japanese Promos?
Many Japanese One Piece promos are handed out with magazines, at events or through campaigns in Japan rather than sold in packs, so they can be hard to find in the UK. The official ONE PIECE Card Game site keeps a card list that records how each promo was distributed. Anniversary cards are especially popular with fans who collect Luffy in every form.
Luffy Through the Years
Luffy is the face of the ONE PIECE Card Game, appearing as Leaders, Super Rares and many promos. An anniversary card makes a natural centrepiece for a Luffy binder, and Japanese promos pair well with his starter deck and booster versions for a collection that follows the captain across the game.
Looking After Your Card
Keep the card in a soft sleeve and a toploader or magnetic case from the moment it arrives. Store it upright, away from sunlight and damp, and handle it by the edges. If you plan to have it graded, avoid touching the surface.
