Set Highlights
Chien-Pao ex appears in several versions, and Annihilape ex is one of its highest-HP cards. Chien-Pao is one of Paldea’s four Treasures of Ruin, and Wo-Chien, another of the four, also appears. Squawkabilly ex, Super Rod and the Supporters Grusha and Giacomo give players useful tools, while Ruinous Snowy Mountain is the Stadium that fits the icy theme.
Snow Hazard, Clay Burst and Paldea Evolved
The English Paldea Evolved expansion brings together cards from Snow Hazard, Clay Burst and Triplet Beat, with some remaining cards appearing in Obsidian Flames. If you’re collecting the Japanese originals, pairing Snow Hazard with Clay Burst gives you both halves of the release. Japanese cards aren’t tournament-legal in English play.
Japanese shops often remove shrink wrap at purchase to stop resale, so No Shrink boxes are common; choose Shrink if you’d rather keep the film.
