What’s in the Japanese Storm Emeralda Booster Box

  • 30 sealed Storm Emeralda (ストームエメラルダ) booster packs
  • 5 cards per pack, 150 cards in total
  • Japanese-language cards from the M6 expansion
  • Your choice of Shrink or No Shrink packaging

The release date and pack size are confirmed on the official Storm Emeralda page at pokemon-card.com. Cards are randomly inserted, so no particular card is guaranteed.

Mega Rayquaza ex and Set Highlights

Mega Rayquaza ex has an Ability that helps you find Basic Energy as it comes into play from your hand, and its Storm Emeralda attack grows stronger for each Fire and Lightning Energy on your Pokémon. The set also introduces Stadium cards that are played by combining two different cards from your hand. Storm Emeralda contains no Basic Energy cards, so keep some to hand if you open packs for a sealed-deck game.

Japanese Edition: Shrink or No Shrink?

Japanese cards can’t be used in English-language tournaments, but collectors enjoy their print finish and compact five-card packs. Pick Shrink for a box with its outer film intact, or No Shrink for a box whose wrap was taken off at the point of sale in Japan; some Japanese stores, including the Pokémon Center, remove shrink wrap to discourage resale. The booster packs inside are individually sealed either way.
