How Jumpstart Works
Each pack is half a deck. Grab two, shuffle them together and you have a 40-card deck with no deckbuilding needed. That makes Jumpstart a friendly way to teach new players or run a quick game night, and a Foundations Jumpstart Booster Box is enough for twelve two-pack decks. Themes are randomly assorted, so we can’t pick specific themes for you, and duplicates are possible.
Who It’s For
The box suits families, kitchen-table groups and anyone teaching friends to play, because nobody needs to build a deck before the first game. Experienced players use Jumpstart for quick casual matches between longer games, and collectors and deckbuilders can look out for the new-to-Magic cards printed in this set.
