Description
Buy the English Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and draft, open or collect Magic: The Gathering’s return to Lorwyn. The set released on 23 January 2026 and splits the plane in two: sunlit, orderly Lorwyn and moonlit, chaotic Shadowmoor, where creatures change with the landscape.
What’s in the Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Booster Box
- 30 sealed Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Boosters
- 14 Magic: The Gathering cards in every pack
- At least one rare or mythic rare per pack, plus a wildcard of any rarity
- One traditional foil card of any rarity per pack
- A basic land and a helper card or double-sided token per pack
The breakdown comes from Wizards of the Coast’s Collecting Lorwyn Eclipsed article.
Booster Fun to Look For
Play Boosters carry most of the set’s special treatments. Look for borderless reversible shock lands with Lorwyn art on one side and Shadowmoor on the other, borderless rares by artists from the original Lorwyn and Shadowmoor blocks, storybook-style fable frame cards, full-art basic land cycles for each side of the plane and 20 woodcut-style Special Guests. Pack contents are random, so no specific card is guaranteed.
Play Booster Box or Collector Boosters?
Play Boosters are built for Limited, so 30 packs cover a full eight-player draft with six to spare, or a sealed-deck evening for a smaller group. Collector Boosters focus on premium treatments, while a Play Booster box gives you far more cards to play with and a wide spread of the set. New to Magic?
