Description
Buy the Chinese Giratina Jumbo Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open the Giratina half of Shadow of the Blue Sea (碧海暗影), the sixth Sword & Shield expansion released for the Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG. It launched on 20 September 2024 in two subsets: Roar (啸, CS6a) led by Lugia and Banish (逐, CS6b) led by Origin Forme Giratina.
What’s in the Chinese Giratina Jumbo Booster Box
- Sealed CS6b jumbo booster packs from the Banish subset
- 25 cards per pack, including 5 foil cards
- Simplified Chinese cards
About the Banish Subset
Bulbapedia’s Marine Shadow page lists CS6b’s types as Water, Psychic, Fighting and Darkness, with Origin Forme Giratina on the cover. Giratina VSTAR is one of the headline cards Pokémon China picked out for the set, and like other Simplified Chinese sets, Shadow of the Blue Sea prints Reverse Holofoil versions of its common, uncommon and rare cards.
Giratina or Lugia?
If Giratina is your favourite legendary, the Chinese Giratina Jumbo Booster Box is the one to pick; for Lugia VSTAR and Archeops, choose our Lugia jumbo box from CS6a. Each jumbo pack gives you 25 cards and five foils, so a single box builds a big stack for your binder or trade folder. Shadow of the Blue Sea was also the last main Sword & Shield booster set in China before Pokémon China moved on to Scarlet & Violet in January 2025, so it closes that era for Chinese collectors.
Collecting Tips
Sleeve Giratina VSTAR and the other V cards as soon as you find them, and keep the Reverse Holofoils on separate pages so you can track every Banish variant.
