About Rise of the Floodborn
An explosion rocks the Great Illuminary and a magical flood of ink runs through its halls. Characters caught in it are transformed into new Floodborn forms, and precious lore washes down into the Inklands. Ravensburger’s official Rise of the Floodborn page shows The Queen, Raya and the Beast on the set art. The Mushu Report Lorcana wiki lists 204 main cards plus 12 Enchanted alternate-art cards in the set.
Floodborn after The First Chapter
Rise of the Floodborn picks up straight after The First Chapter, so collectors building a Chinese Lorcana run in order usually buy the two together. Shift is one of the abilities you will see on its characters, letting a new version of a character be played on top of an existing one. Every Lorcana card belongs to one of six inks, Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Steel, and decks are built from up to two of them, so sorting a binder by ink is a popular approach.
