Description
Buy the Chinese Lugia Jumbo Booster Box from Obsidia TCG for jumbo packs from the Lugia side of Shadow of the Blue Sea (碧海暗影). Pokémon China released the set on 20 September 2024, splitting it into a Lugia half called Roar (啸) and a Giratina half called Banish (逐).
What’s in the Chinese Lugia Jumbo Booster Box
- Sealed jumbo booster packs from the Lugia (Roar) subset
- 25 cards per pack, including 5 foil cards
- Simplified Chinese cards
Lugia VSTAR and Friends
Pokémon China’s Roar subset page puts Lugia VSTAR first, alongside Archeops, a well-known partner for Lugia decks. The same page highlights Magnezone VSTAR, Zacian VSTAR and Zamazenta VSTAR, plus Trainer cards such as Professor Burnet and Ultra Ball. Cards are randomly inserted, so none of these is guaranteed in a given box.
Choosing Lugia or Giratina
The Roar subset covers Grass, Fire, Lightning and Metal Pokémon, while the Giratina half covers Water, Psychic, Fighting and Darkness. The Chinese Lugia Jumbo Booster Box is the one for Lugia fans and Metal-type players, and collectors after both legends can pair it with our Giratina jumbo box. Simplified Chinese sets also print Reverse Holofoil versions of common, uncommon and rare cards, adding extra variants to your binder. As the last main Sword & Shield booster set released in China before the Scarlet & Violet era began in January 2025, Shadow of the Blue Sea rounds off a Chinese Sword & Shield collection.
Collecting Tips
Open the jumbo packs one at a time and sort the cards by type as you go. Sleeve Lugia VSTAR and the other VSTAR cards straight away, and keep a checklist of the Roar subset so the Reverse Holofoil variants don’t get mixed up with the regular prints.
