Description
Buy the Team Rocket Mewtwo ex Tin from Obsidia TCG and side with Giovanni, with Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex as your promo. The Team Rocket Tin range was released on 5 September 2025, a few months after Team Rocket’s Pokémon returned to the card game.
What’s in the Team Rocket Mewtwo ex Tin
- 5 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- 1 foil promo card featuring Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex
- 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card
- A collectible Team Rocket tin
The Team Rocket Tin comes in three versions, each with a different foil promo: Mewtwo ex, Nidoking ex or Persian ex, as the Asmodee UK listing confirms. This listing is the Mewtwo ex version.
The 5-Pack Version
This tin is the 5-pack edition. Some UK retailers list a version of the Team Rocket Tin with four packs, so check the pack count when you compare listings. Both include the Mewtwo ex promo, but the 5-pack edition gives you one more booster to open.
Who It’s For
Team Rocket’s Pokémon came back to the Pokémon TCG in Destined Rivals, released in English on 30 May 2025, and Mewtwo ex is a key card in the villains’ line-up: it also has its own ex Box and League Battle Deck. This tin suits Mewtwo fans and anyone building around Team Rocket, and the sturdy tin is handy for storing cards afterwards. It also makes a fun gift for a fan who always rooted for the villains. Our Destined Rivals guide covers the set behind Team Rocket’s return.
