Description
Buy the Team Rocket Mewtwo ex Box from Obsidia TCG and add Giovanni’s prized Pokémon to your collection. Sold officially as the Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex Box, it arrived in the UK in June 2025, shortly after Destined Rivals brought Team Rocket’s Pokémon back to the card game.
What’s in the Team Rocket Mewtwo ex Box
- 1 foil promo card featuring Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex
- 1 oversize foil Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex card
- 2 foil cards: Team Rocket’s Meowth and Team Rocket’s Giovanni
- 1 photo sticker
- 4 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card
You can compare these contents with the Asmodee UK listing from the official UK distributor. Bulbapedia’s Destined Rivals page notes that the Meowth and Giovanni cards in this box are Cosmos Holo versions exclusive to it.
Mewtwo ex in Battle
According to the official product text, Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex can deal up to 280 damage with its Erasure Ball attack when it has backup from other Team Rocket’s Pokémon. The two support cards fit the same theme, so the box is a neat starting point for a Team Rocket deck as well as a display piece. Our Destined Rivals guide explains the set these cards come from.
Ex Box or Tin?
The Team Rocket Mewtwo ex Box gives you the oversize card, two extra foils and a photo sticker. The Team Rocket Tin with the Mewtwo ex promo has one more booster pack but none of those display pieces, so pick the box if you want something to show off as well as open.
