Description
Buy the Team Rocket Nidoking ex Tin from Obsidia TCG for five booster packs and a foil promo of Team Rocket’s Nidoking ex. The Team Rocket Tin went on sale on 5 September 2025 in three versions, and this is the one for Nidoking fans.
What’s in the Team Rocket Nidoking ex Tin
- 5 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- 1 foil promo card featuring Team Rocket’s Nidoking ex
- 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card
- A collectible Team Rocket tin
Three Tins, Three Promos
The same tin was also released with Mewtwo ex and Persian ex promos, and the Asmodee UK listing describes all three versions. This listing is the Nidoking ex version with five packs. Some UK listings show a four-pack edition of the tin, so it’s worth checking pack counts if you’re comparing.
Why Nidoking?
Nidoking has been linked with Giovanni since the original Red and Blue games, where it was part of his Gym team, so this promo suits collectors who love classic Team Rocket. Team Rocket’s Pokémon returned to the card game in Destined Rivals (English release 30 May 2025), and our Destined Rivals guide explains that set and its products. Once the packs are open, the tin makes a sturdy box for your Team Rocket cards.
It’s also an easy gift: compact, sealed and simple to wrap, with five packs to open on the day and a promo that older fans of the original games will recognise straight away.
