Description
Buy the Korean Ancient Roar Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open 30 packs of the Korean edition of 고대의 포효. Pokémon Korea released it on 30 November 2023, about a month after the Japanese Ancient Roar launched on 27 October 2023, with Future Flash as its companion set.
What’s in the Korean Ancient Roar Booster Box
- 30 Korean Ancient Roar booster packs
- 5 cards per pack, 150 cards in total
- Korean-language cards that follow the Japanese set list and artwork
The pack count is confirmed on the official Korean Ancient Roar product page, which also notes that cards are inserted at random, so no single card is guaranteed.
Ancient Paradox Pokémon
Ancient Roar focuses on the Ancient Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet, and the Japanese Ancient Roar page highlights Roaring Moon ex and Sandy Shocks ex as its “Ancient” cards. Its partner set, Future Flash, covers the Future Paradox Pokémon instead. Cards from both were later combined into the English Paradox Rift expansion, so this box lets you collect those designs in Korean.
Korean or Japanese?
The Korean and Japanese boxes share the same 30-pack format and card list; only the printed language differs. Korean cards are official Pokémon products for the Korean market and aren’t legal in English-language tournaments, so most buyers open them for fun, display or a multi-language binder. To compare, see our Japanese Pokémon cards.
With 150 cards inside, this box suits a group opening or a stream. Keep a few sleeves ready for your favourite Paradox pulls, and store an unopened box flat and out of direct sunlight if you’d like to keep it sealed.
