Description
Buy the Japanese White Flare Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open SV11W, the Scarlet & Violet expansion released in Japan on 6 June 2025 alongside its twin, Black Bolt (SV11B). Reshiram is the set’s mascot, with Reshiram ex as its special Black White Rare (BWR) card.
What’s in the Japanese White Flare Booster Box
- 20 sealed White Flare (ホワイトフレア) booster packs
- 7 cards per pack, 140 cards in total
- 2 guaranteed holofoil cards in every pack
- Shrink or No Shrink packaging
Bulbapedia’s Black Bolt and White Flare page confirms the box size and pack contents. The remaining cards are random.
Unova Returns
White Flare is packed with Pokémon from the Unova region, with Reshiram ex at the front, while Black Bolt gives Zekrom ex the same spotlight. Many collectors open both to complete the pair, and the seven-card packs mean more cards per pack than a standard five-card Japanese expansion. With 140 cards in a box, it’s a great gift for anyone who grew up with Pokémon Black and White and wants that era back in their binder.
Japanese vs English White Flare
The English White Flare special expansion was localised from this release, and Bulbapedia notes it was the first international special expansion made from a Japanese main expansion. Japanese cards aren’t legal in English-language tournaments, so this box suits collectors; players can find English sets in our English Pokémon cards. Pick Shrink to keep the film, or No Shrink for a box unwrapped at sale in Japan, as the Pokémon Center does; packs stay sealed.
