Description
Buy the Japanese Fukuoka Special Box from Obsidia TCG, the Special BOX made for the 2025 renewal of Pokémon Center Fukuoka, on the southern island of Kyushu. It was announced in June 2025 together with matching boxes for Tohoku and Hiroshima, and in Japan it was first sold by lottery through Pokémon Center Online.
What’s in the Japanese Fukuoka Special Box
- 1 holo promo card: Fukuoka’s Pikachu
- 1 set of 64 deck sleeves
- 1 deck case
- 1 long card box
These contents are confirmed in the official Pokémon Card Game announcement. There are no booster packs inside: the box is built around the promo card and the accessories.
Why Collectors Look for It
Regional Pikachu promos are one of the most popular corners of Japanese Pokémon collecting, because each card is linked to one Pokémon Center. Fukuoka’s Pikachu places Pikachu in artwork that celebrates its home city, so it is a natural pick if you have visited Kyushu or follow Pokémon Center releases. Keep the box sealed for display, or open it and put the sleeves, deck case and long card box to use straight away. As a Japanese promo, the card is made for collecting rather than English tournament play, and the compact box also makes a thoughtful gift for a Pikachu fan.
Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Tohoku
The three 2025 Special BOX sets share the same format, so the promo card is what sets each one apart: Tohoku’s Pikachu, Hiroshima’s Pikachu or Fukuoka’s Pikachu. Many collectors pair the Fukuoka box with the Hiroshima and Tohoku editions, which you can find in our Special Location Boxes category, and the three boxes make a tidy matching row on a shelf.
