Spiritforged Highlights
Riot describes Spiritforged as featuring over 200 new cards. It introduced twelve new Champion Legends, among them Rek’Sai, Draven, Irelia, Rumble, Lucian, Ezreal, Azir and Jax, and brought Spirit Blossom-themed alternate art. The headline mechanic is Equipment, which attaches to units and stays in play when the unit is defeated. If you’re new, Riot’s getting started page explains Legends, runes and battlefields in a few minutes.
Why Buy Chinese Spiritforged
Chinese Spiritforged appeals to collectors who want the set in another language, or who love the Spirit Blossom artwork with Chinese text. A jumbo box is a satisfying way to open a large share of the set at once. Spiritforged also brought two Champion Decks, for Rumble and Fiora, so if one of those champions is your favourite, the cards you open here can help you build around them. For the English sets and formats, read our Riftbound booster box guide.
Opening Tips
Sort Legends, champion units and runes into their own piles as you open, because a deck needs a champion unit whose name matches its Legend. Keep Equipment cards together too, so you can match them to the units you plan to play.
