The CSM2b Subset
Pokémon China split the set into three subsets: CSM2a (沐) for Water, Lightning and Metal, CSM2b (魁) for Grass, Psychic and Fighting, and CSM2c (唤) for Fire, Darkness and Fairy. Bulbapedia’s Shining Synergy page adds that each 5-card pack holds a Reverse Holofoil or a card of Rare or higher, and that Simplified Chinese holos carry an embossed English Pokémon logo.
A Piece of Chinese Pokémon History
As one of the very first Simplified Chinese Pokémon sets, Shining Together is a Sun & Moon era release built around Tag Team Pokémon-GX.
