How the Set Is Built
Vol 5 has 196 cards: 28 Pokémon with seven numbered cards each. Every Pokémon follows the same rarity ladder of two Gem C, two Gem U, then one each of Gem R, Gem RR and Gem RRR, so completing a single Pokémon’s run makes a satisfying mini-goal. Bulbapedia’s Gem Pack Vol. 5 page lists the full line-up, which includes Magneton, Chansey, Skarmory, Milcery, Ceruledge, Wattrel and Tatsugiri.
Pokémon Horizons Exclusives
The chase cards come from Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Captain Pikachu gets its own seven-card run, and the exclusive art cards feature Friede, Liko, Roy and Dot alongside their partner Pokémon. None of these illustrations has been printed in English, which makes them a natural place to start your Vol 5 checklist.
Vol 5 or Another Volume?
