- 10 game cards and a Basic Energy card in each pack
- English-language cards from a set of more than 115 cards
Cards to Look For
Pitch Black is built around Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, with Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex at the front of the set. Alongside them you’ll find illustration rares, ultra rares and special illustration rares. Our Pitch Black card list covers the whole set, and Bulbapedia’s Pitch Black page has the release details. Pack contents are random, so no particular card is guaranteed.
Bundle, ETB or Booster Box?
Six packs is a sensible middle ground. A booster bundle skips the sleeves, dice and promo card of an Elite Trainer Box, so it suits players and collectors who simply want packs to open. A 36-pack booster box is the step up if you’re building the full set, while the bundle makes a tidy gift for a fan following the Mega Evolution era. If packs matter more to you than accessories, two bundles give you twelve packs against the nine in a standard Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box.
