About the Pitch Black Expansion
According to the official Pitch Black announcement, the set brings six Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, including Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex, plus 11 illustration rares and six special illustration rares. Mega Pokémon ex give up three Prize cards when Knocked Out, so they hit hard but carry real risk. The English set draws on cards first released in the Japanese Abyss Eye expansion. Our Pitch Black card list covers the cards worth looking out for.
Why Choose the ETB
Nine packs give you a fair spread of the set, and the sleeves, Energy and dice mean you can build and play a deck straight away. The box itself makes tidy storage for your Pitch Black cards afterwards, with six dividers to sort them by type or rarity. It’s also a straightforward gift for a Pokémon fan, as there’s nothing else to buy before they can play.
