Who Are Team Magma?
Team Magma first appeared in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald and returned in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Their leader Maxie wants to expand the world’s landmass, and the team seeks Groudon to do it, according to Bulbapedia’s Team Magma page. In Chinese they’re called 熔岩队.
Magma vs Aqua
Team Magma’s goal is the opposite of Team Aqua’s, which is why the two teams clash throughout the Hoenn games. Pairing this piece with our Team Aqua Pikachu recreates that rivalry on your desk, with red on one side and blue on the other. We also list Team Galactic, Team Plasma, Team Flame and Team Rocket versions for anyone collecting the full villain line-up.
Gift Ideas
A single decoration piece makes a thoughtful small present for a Pokémon fan, especially someone who grew up with Ruby and Sapphire. Add a few Chinese booster packs for a bigger gift, or tuck it into a birthday bag alongside a Groudon card for a themed surprise.
