Description
Buy the Chinese Paldea Magnet Coin Set Series 1 from Obsidia TCG for a fun mix of booster packs and a collectable metal magnet. This first wave of the Simplified Chinese magnet coin sets came out in mainland China in 2025, celebrating Paldea, the region from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
What’s in the Chinese Paldea Magnet Coin Set Series 1
- 1 sealed blind box
- 1 random coin-shaped metal magnet, from a range of more than 60 designs that includes rarer hidden versions
- 2 random Simplified Chinese slim booster packs, 5 cards per pack
Paldea Pokémon and Trainers
The magnets show Pokémon and trainers from Paldea, and a handful of rarer designs make the hunt more interesting. PokeZentrum’s report on the launch explains that the slim packs are drawn from recent Simplified Chinese Scarlet & Violet expansions, so two boxes can open completely different sets. Both the magnet and the packs are random, so no particular design or card is guaranteed and duplicates can happen.
Series 1 or Series 2?
Series 1 was the opening wave, and Series 2 followed a few weeks later with a fresh run of magnet designs and a wider pick of packs. If you’re starting a fridge or magnetic-board display, Series 1 is the natural place to begin, then add Series 2 as your collection grows. The coin shape also sits nicely in a small frame or shadow box next to your favourite Paldea cards, and a single box makes a cheerful add-on to a birthday card for a young fan.
