What’s in the Chinese Obsidian Blaze Fat Booster Box
- 6 sealed fat (jumbo) booster packs
- 20 cards per pack, including 6 foil cards
- 120 Simplified Chinese cards in total
Pokémon China’s Obsidian Blaze announcement confirms the 20-card pack with six foils and notes that the set includes special illustration foils at AR, SR, SAR and UR rarity.
Set Highlights
Tera Charizard ex leads a set full of Pokémon whose Tera type differs from their usual type, and Trainer cards linked to the Paldea Elite Four appear too. Cards are randomly inserted, so no single card is guaranteed, but every fat pack gives you six foils to look through, which adds up to 36 foils across the box. Sleeve the special illustration cards as soon as you find them and keep a checklist of the AR, SR, SAR and UR cards you still need.
Fat Box or Slim Box?
The Chinese Obsidian Blaze Fat Booster Box gives you fewer, larger packs and more foils per pack. If you’d rather open lots of 5-card packs with one foil each, look for the Obsidian Blaze slim box in our range. Both formats come from the same 黑晶炽诚 set, so the cards you can find are the same; only the pack size and foil count change. Chinese sets are made for the mainland China market, so they’re popular with collectors who want something different from their English binder.
