Description
Buy the Chinese First Partner Series 2 box from Obsidia TCG for the second wave of Pokémon China’s 30th anniversary starter promos. Officially the 30周年庆典 最初的伙伴特别插画闪卡套装 Vol.2, it released on 19 June 2026 and moves the spotlight to Johto, Unova and Galar.
What’s in the Chinese First Partner Series 2 Box
- 1 First Partner special illustration foil, chosen at random from 9
- 1 acrylic magnetic card display frame
- 1 星彩晶璃 (Stellar Crystal) slim booster pack, 5 cards
The official Vol.2 page confirms that each of the nine designs is produced in equal numbers.
Starters in Series 2
The promo pool covers Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile from Johto; Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott from Unova; and Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble from Galar. Each regional trio joins up into one long illustration when the cards sit side by side.
Collecting Tips
Because each box gives one card, a full Series 2 run takes at least nine boxes, and duplicates are likely along the way, so trading with friends helps. The frames link together magnetically, so you can build your display one region at a time on a fridge, metal board or shelf. Series 1 covers Kanto, Sinnoh and Alola, and our First Partner Illustration Collection guide explains the wider anniversary line.
Chinese or English Series 2?
The English First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 uses the same nine starters but includes three promos in a special pack, plus two booster packs and a sticker sheet. The Chinese box gives one promo with a display frame, so it’s the smaller, display-focused choice and a tidy gift for a Johto, Unova or Galar fan.
