Description
Buy the Chinese Eevee Heroes Jumbo Booster Box from Obsidia TCG and open the Eeveelution half of Nine Colors Gathering (九彩汇聚), the Simplified Chinese set Bulbapedia calls Polychromatic Gathering. Pokémon China released it on 1 March 2024, and its CS4a subset, Friend (朋), puts Eevee’s evolutions on the cover.
What’s in the Chinese Eevee Heroes Jumbo Booster Box
- 6 sealed CS4a jumbo booster packs
- 25 cards per pack, including 5 foil cards
- 150 Simplified Chinese cards in total
Eeveelution Highlights
Pokémon China’s Nine Colors Gathering launch page is all about Eevee and its evolutions. It highlights Eevee V, which can search your deck for Pokémon V, plus Sylveon VMAX, Glaceon VMAX, Leafeon VMAX, Umbreon VMAX and Espeon VMAX, along with Flareon V, Jolteon V and Vaporeon V. Hatterene also gets a mention for its Ability, which moves Energy onto an Eeveelution VMAX each turn. Cards are randomly inserted, so no particular card is guaranteed.
Why Collectors Like Chinese Jumbo Packs
Each jumbo pack holds 25 cards, so there’s plenty to sort through, and five of them are foils. Simplified Chinese sets also print Reverse Holofoil versions of their common, uncommon and rare cards, giving Eevee collectors extra variants to hunt. Across the box you get 30 foils, and the full set runs to 361 cards over its two halves. If you’d rather open the other half of the set, our Nine Colors Mew jumbo box covers CS4b.
Collecting Tips
Many Eevee fans give each Eeveelution its own binder page, with the V, VMAX and Reverse Holofoil versions side by side. Sleeve the VMAX cards as you open them and keep a checklist of the CS4a cards you still need.
