Pokémon China’s Dynamax Clash preview introduces the Flame pack and its featured cards. Cards are randomly inserted, so contents vary from box to box.
Cinderace Leads the Flame Pack
The Flame booster includes Cinderace V and Cinderace VMAX. Cinderace VMAX has 320 HP and an attack that deals 170 damage and leaves the opposing Pokémon Burned, while Cinderace V can retreat for free when a Stadium is in play. The set also introduced the RRR rarity for VMAX cards, gave RR cards a textured finish and brought back S and SSR rarities, giving collectors plenty to look for. As the first Simplified Chinese Sword & Shield booster, it’s also a neat piece of history for anyone following the Chinese game from its early days.
Flame or Thunder?
Dynamax Clash came in two versions. Flame features Cinderace, while the Thunder (雷) version features Pikachu V and Pikachu VMAX.
