Battle Box or Collection Box?
Pokémon China released two Charizard VMAX boxes on the same day. This Battle Gift Box is the player’s version: the playmat, deck box, sleeves and die make it ready for the table once you add a deck, and the storage box keeps your cards organised between games. The Charizard VMAX Collection Gift Box instead pairs a special illustration Charizard VMAX card with a binder, a display frame and three packs. Vivid Portrayals is the Simplified Chinese set released alongside both boxes, and Bulbapedia’s set page covers its two halves, Obsidian and Indigo.
