What’s in the Chinese 151 Surprise Jumbo Booster Box
- 6 sealed Collect 151 Surprise jumbo packs
- 20 cards per pack, 120 cards in total
- 7 foil cards in every pack
- Simplified Chinese-language cards
The 20-card pack and its seven foils are confirmed on Pokémon China’s Collect 151 announcement. Cards are randomly inserted, so no particular card is guaranteed, and duplicates are part of the fun when you’re trading with friends.
A Spooky Twist on Kanto
Surprise has a playful ghostly theme. Its new Pikachu special illustration card at AR rarity shows Gengar hiding behind Pikachu, and Mew ex receives a special art card. The Poké Ball and Master Ball pattern foils in this volume favour Grass, Psychic and Dark types, so it’s the volume to open if those pages of your Kanto binder are still empty.
Surprise in the Collect 151 Series
Surprise follows Journey and Hope and comes before Gathering. Some guides translate 惊 as “Scare”, but it’s the same release. The Chinese 151 Surprise Jumbo Booster Box suits collectors working through all four volumes, and it makes a fun Halloween gift for a Gengar fan. With 120 cards and 42 foils across the box, it’s also a generous way to fill several binder pages in one evening. Our Pokémon 151 guide covers the English set, which has a different card list.
