Description
Buy the Chinese 151 Bulbasaur Display Set from Obsidia TCG and give the first Pokémon in the Pokédex a frame of its own. Pokémon China released it as 收集啦151 最初的伙伴展示套装 妙蛙种子 (Collect 151 First Partner Display Set: Bulbasaur) on 22 August 2025, alongside matching Charmander and Squirtle editions.
What’s in the Chinese 151 Bulbasaur Display Set
- 1 Bulbasaur foil card with new artwork, in a Poké Ball pattern or, rarely, a Master Ball pattern
- 1 green paper card display frame
- 1 Collect 151 Journey (旅) booster pack, 5 cards
- 1 Collect 151 Hope (望) booster pack, 5 cards
- 1 Collect 151 Scare (惊) booster pack, 5 cards
The contents are listed on the official Pokémon China announcement. The foil pattern is random, and so are the cards in each pack.
Display Set or Premium Gift Box?
Pokémon China also released a larger Bulbasaur premium gift box in October 2025, with a special illustration foil, 64 art sleeves, a storage box and six 20-card Scare packs. The Chinese 151 Bulbasaur Display Set is the smaller, easier gift: one Bulbasaur card to frame, plus a taste of three different Collect 151 waves for a fraction of the opening time.
Why Collectors Like It
Bulbasaur is the Grass-type Kanto starter and number 001 in the National Pokédex, which makes it a natural first page in any 151 binder. The green frame lets you stand the foil on a desk or shelf, and because the three packs come from different waves, each one has its own cover and card mix. Collectors who want the full Kanto trio often add the Charmander and Squirtle sets, each with its own frame colour.
