Is This Box Right for You?
Four packs and three foil extras make this a manageable present for a Kanto fan, or a neat way to own a Zapdos ex without chasing it in packs. Electabuzz and Zapdos share a theme, so the pair looks good together in a binder page. The set itself brings back all the original Kanto Pokémon in Pokédex order, with 12 Pokémon ex and three gold hyper rares to chase. There’s also a sister box built around Alakazam ex if you want to collect both.
If you want more packs, the Pokémon 151 Elite Trainer Box has nine plus sleeves, dice and Energy cards. Our Pokémon 151 guide has more on the set and its products.
