Why Collectors Look for It
The 151 set focuses on the original Generation I Pokémon, and many collectors like to build complete evolution lines. The Cosmos Holo Abra and Kadabra prints came only in this box, so it’s the natural way to finish a matching trio next to the Alakazam ex promo. Kept sealed, it also makes a neat display piece for anyone who grew up with Pokémon Red and Blue and still loves the original Kanto line-up.
Buying a 2023 Product
Because the collection dates from 2023, it’s no longer a new release, and if you plan to keep yours sealed, store it out of direct sunlight and away from damp so the box stays in good shape. The booster packs inside are a fun extra, but the promo and the two Cosmos Holo cards are the main reason collectors pick this box. If you’re comparing other 151 items, our Pokémon 151 guide covers the set and its products.
