Pokémon Perfect Order Card List

Perfect Order's 124 cards explained, from the Mega Zygarde ex Mega Hyper Rare to the six special illustration rares, plus what you get in each English product.

English Perfect Order Booster Box display of 36 booster packs

The Pokémon Perfect Order card list runs to 124 cards, led by Mega Zygarde ex and backed by special illustration rares of Mega Clefable ex, Mega Starmie ex and Meowth ex. It’s a compact set compared with the biggest Scarlet & Violet expansions, which makes it a realistic one to complete, and its top cards are easy to learn.

This guide to the Pokémon Perfect Order card list covers the set’s size and structure, every rarity tier, a verified table of the cards collectors chase most, and a clear look at what’s inside each English product, including how the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box differs from the standard one.

Pokémon Perfect Order at a Glance

Pokémon Perfect Order, sold in full as Mega Evolution—Perfect Order, is part of the Mega Evolution series and was released worldwide on 27 March 2026. The set is themed after the video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Mega Zygarde ex is its central Pokémon.

Alongside Mega Zygarde ex, Bulbapedia’s summary of the set highlights Mega Clefable ex, Mega Starmie ex and Meowth ex, and those four Pokémon appear on the booster pack artwork shown in the launch announcement. Every card from the set carries Perfect Order’s set symbol, and the main set number is printed out of 088.

Bulbapedia describes it as the first main set based on Legends: Z-A, and the second set overall after Ascended Heroes. The English set includes cards from the Japanese Nihil Zero expansion, so if you collect Japanese cards too, that’s the set to look for. More on the language differences further down.

Where Perfect Order Sits in the Series

Bulbapedia counts Perfect Order as the third main expansion of the Mega Evolution series, after Mega Evolution (26 September 2025) and Phantasmal Flames (14 November 2025). Ascended Heroes, released in between on 30 January 2026, sits outside that main-set count. Since Perfect Order came out, English players have had Chaos Rising (22 May 2026), Pitch Black (17 July 2026) and the 30th Celebration set, which Limitless TCG lists as released on 16 September 2026.

That timeline matters if you’re collecting the whole series, because promos and product formats tend to follow a similar pattern from set to set. Knowing which set came when also helps when you’re sorting a mixed pile of Mega Evolution cards by set symbol.

How the Pokémon Perfect Order Card List Is Structured

The full Pokémon Perfect Order card list has 124 cards: 88 in the main set, numbered 001/088 to 088/088, and 36 secret rares numbered from 089/088 to 124/088. According to Bulbapedia’s Perfect Order page, every Rare and lower-rarity card also has a reverse holo version, which matters if you’re building a master set.

Here’s how the cards break down by rarity.

  • Main set (001–088): commons, uncommons, rares and nine Double Rare Pokémon ex, four of which are Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
  • Illustration Rares (089–099): 11 full-art cards of regular Pokémon, from Spewpa to Raticate.
  • Ultra Rares (100–117): 18 full-art cards, made up of eight Pokémon ex and ten Trainer cards.
  • Special Illustration Rares (118–123): six cards, four Pokémon ex and two Supporters.
  • Mega Hyper Rare (124): a single top-rarity card, Mega Zygarde ex.

That structure means there’s one clear top card, a small group of six special illustration rares just beneath it, and a manageable run of illustration rares for collectors who prefer the art of regular Pokémon.

The Double Rare Pokémon ex in the Main Set

The nine Pokémon ex in the main set are Decidueye ex (012/088), Salazzle ex (016/088), Mega Starmie ex (021/088), Lapras ex (022/088), Mega Clefable ex (031/088), Mega Zygarde ex (047/088), Yveltal ex (053/088), Mega Skarmory ex (055/088) and Meowth ex (062/088). Every one of them except Lapras ex also has an Ultra Rare full-art version in the secret rares.

The Best Cards in the Pokémon Perfect Order Card List

These are the cards collectors ask about most. We’re describing interest and rarity, not value, which changes too quickly to be useful in a guide.

Mega Zygarde ex Mega Hyper Rare (124/088)

The last card in the Pokémon Perfect Order card list is the one most collectors want: the Mega Hyper Rare Mega Zygarde ex at 124/088. Bulbapedia describes this print as gold-etched. It’s the only card of its rarity in the set, and as the central Pokémon of the expansion, it’s the natural headline pull.

Mega Zygarde ex Special Illustration Rare (120/088)

The second Mega Zygarde ex chase card is its special illustration rare at 120/088, credited on Limitless to kantaro. Mega Zygarde ex appears four times in the set in total: as a Double Rare (047/088), an Ultra Rare (104/088), this special illustration rare and the Mega Hyper Rare.

Mega Clefable ex Special Illustration Rare (119/088)

Mega Clefable ex is one of the set’s featured Pokémon, and its special illustration rare at 119/088 draws a lot of attention. Limitless credits both this card and the Clefairy illustration rare (094/088) to Cona Nitanda, so many collectors put the two side by side in a binder.

Mega Starmie ex Special Illustration Rare (118/088)

Mega Starmie ex opens the special illustration rare run at 118/088. It’s another featured Pokémon, and Limitless lists the same artist, takuyoa, for this card and the Mega Zygarde ex Mega Hyper Rare.

Meowth ex Special Illustration Rare (121/088)

Meowth ex isn’t a Mega Evolution, but it’s one of the four featured Pokémon and a long-time favourite. Its special illustration rare at 121/088 is credited on Limitless to Natsumi Yoshida.

Jacinthe and Rosa’s Encouragement (122/088 and 123/088)

The two Supporter special illustration rares are Jacinthe (122/088) and Rosa’s Encouragement (123/088). Both Supporters also have Ultra Rare versions, at 110/088 and 114/088. Trainer special illustration rares appeal to collectors who follow characters from the games, as well as to players who like premium versions of the cards they use.

Use this table as a checklist when you sort your pulls. Numbers and rarities come from Bulbapedia’s set list and are cross-checked against Limitless TCG’s Perfect Order database.

Other Secret Rares Worth Knowing

The rest of the Pokémon Perfect Order card list has plenty for binder collectors. The Ultra Rare Pokémon ex include Decidueye ex (100/088), Salazzle ex (101/088), Yveltal ex (105/088), Mega Skarmory ex (106/088) and Meowth ex (107/088), alongside the Mega Starmie ex, Mega Clefable ex and Mega Zygarde ex Ultra Rares. Yveltal ex is a good pick for Kalos fans, since Yveltal and Zygarde were both introduced in Pokémon X and Y, and Mega Skarmory ex is one of the four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in the set.

The ten Ultra Rare Trainers are Energy Recycler, Forest of Vitality, Jacinthe, Lumiose City, Naveen, Poké Pad, Rosa’s Encouragement, Sacred Ash, Tarragon and Wondrous Patch, numbered 108/088 to 117/088. Lumiose City is a nice one for fans of Legends: Z-A, since the game is set there.

The illustration rares are Spewpa (089), Rowlet (090), Talonflame (091), Aurorus (092), Dedenne (093), Clefairy (094), Espurr (095), Probopass (096), Drapion (097), Doublade (098) and Raticate (099). They’re the most approachable secret rares, and completing all eleven is a satisfying goal in its own right.

What’s Inside Each Pokémon Perfect Order Product

All of the English products below contain the same Perfect Order booster packs, and each pack contains 10 cards. The difference is how many packs you get and what comes with them.

Booster Box (36 Packs)

The English Pokémon Perfect Order Booster Box (36-Pack) is the full display: 36 sealed booster packs and nothing else. It’s the best fit for group openings, set collectors and anyone who wants the widest spread of the set in one go. See more in our English booster boxes category.

18-Pack Booster Box

The English Pokémon Perfect Order 18-Pack Booster Box is a half-size display with 18 booster packs. Perfect Order was also released in this smaller booster display format, which suits collectors who want a sealed box to open without committing to a full 36 packs.

Elite Trainer Box

The English Pokémon Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box is the all-rounder. Its official contents are:

  • 9 Perfect Order booster packs
  • 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Tyrunt
  • 65 card sleeves and 40 Energy cards
  • A player’s guide to the expansion
  • 6 damage-counter dice, 1 competition-legal coin-flip die and 1 plastic coin
  • A collector’s box with 6 dividers, plus a code card for Pokémon TCG Live

The Tyrunt promo is listed by Bulbapedia as MEP 070 in the Mega Evolution Black Star Promos. The ETB is a strong gift choice and a sensible start for newer players, because the sleeves, dice and Energy cards stay useful long after the packs are opened.

Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box

The English Pokémon Perfect Order Pokémon Centre Elite Trainer Box is the Pokémon Center edition. Compared with the standard box, the official listing shows two differences:

  • 11 booster packs instead of 9, so two extra packs.
  • A second Tyrunt promo with a Pokémon Center logo, in addition to the regular full-art Tyrunt.

The sleeves, Energy cards, dice, coin, player’s guide, storage box and code card are listed the same as in the standard box. Pokémon Center editions are produced for the official Pokémon Center store, which is where the name and the logo on the extra promo come from. If you want the most packs and an extra promo in an ETB, the Pokémon Center edition is the one to pick.

Booster Bundle (6 Packs)

The English Pokémon Perfect Order Booster Bundle (6-Pack) holds six booster packs in a slim box, with no accessories. It’s an easy way to try the set and a tidy present for someone who already has sleeves and dice.

3-Pack Blister and Checklane Blister

The English Pokémon Perfect Order 3-Pack Blister pairs three booster packs with a foil promo card. For this set, the official three-pack blister promo is Chikorita, listed as MEP 069.

The English Pokémon Perfect Order Checklane Blister is the single-pack option, with one booster pack, a coin and a Makuhita promo, listed as MEP 068. It’s a different product from the Premium Checklane Blisters that also launched with the set, which are built around evolution lines such as Steelix and Clawitzer. Both of our blisters are good stocking fillers and an affordable way to pick up the set’s promos.

Promos That Sit Alongside the Set

Promo cards aren’t part of the 124-card list, but master set collectors often track them. Bulbapedia’s Mega Evolution promo records link these cards to Perfect Order products:

  • Build & Battle Box: Serperior (MEP 064), Barbaracle (MEP 065), Tyrantrum (MEP 066) and Doublade (MEP 067)
  • Single-pack blister: Makuhita (MEP 068)
  • Three-pack blister: Chikorita (MEP 069)
  • Elite Trainer Box and Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box: Tyrunt (MEP 070)

A Mega Zygarde ex promo (MEP 071), with alternate artwork by takuyoa, also came in the Mega Zygarde ex Premium Collection, which Bulbapedia dates from 22 May 2026. We don’t cover the Build & Battle Box or the Premium Collection in this guide’s product list, but both are worth knowing about if you want every Perfect Order-related card.

How to Choose

Every product contains the same packs, so choose by format and extras rather than by any one card.

  • Most packs: the 36-pack booster box.
  • A sealed box at half the size: the 18-pack booster box.
  • Accessories for play or a gift: the Elite Trainer Box.
  • The most packs in an ETB, plus an extra promo: the Pokémon Center edition.
  • A quick taste or a small gift: the booster bundle or a blister.

If you’re opening with friends, a booster box is the easiest to share out, and everyone sees the same spread of the set. If you’re opening alone and want to keep the box for storage afterwards, an Elite Trainer Box doubles as a home for your sleeved Perfect Order cards and the Energy you’ll need to play them.

If you’re following the whole series, our Pokémon Pitch Black card list covers the set that arrived a few months later, and our Mega Evolutions booster box guide goes back to where the series began.

Planning Your Collection From the Pokémon Perfect Order Card List

Most collectors pick one of three goals, and the Pokémon Perfect Order card list makes each one clear.

  • The main set: all 88 cards from 001/088 to 088/088. This is the most achievable goal, and a full booster box gives you plenty of packs to work through it.
  • The full set: all 124 cards, including the 36 secret rares. The six special illustration rares and the Mega Hyper Rare are the hardest part.
  • The master set: every card plus every reverse holo, and often the promos listed above. This is a long-term project best tackled with trading.

Whichever goal you choose, a binder with nine-pocket pages laid out by card number makes it easy to see what you’re missing. Leave gaps for secret rares you haven’t pulled yet, so the page fills up in order as your collection grows.

English and Japanese Versions

Japanese collectors will know the matching cards from Nihil Zero (M3), which was released in Japan on 23 January 2026. Limitless lists Nihil Zero at 117 cards, while the English Pokémon Perfect Order card list has 124, so the two sets don’t line up exactly and card numbers differ between languages.

The Perfect Order products we list are English. If you’re comparing the two languages, match cards by name and artwork rather than by number. For example, the Mega Zygarde ex Mega Hyper Rare is 124/088 in English, while Bulbapedia lists its Japanese equivalent as 117/080 in Nihil Zero. You’ll find more set guides on the Obsidia TCG blog.

Tips for Using the Pokémon Perfect Order Card List

A little organisation when you open packs makes the list far more useful.

  • Sort by number. Anything printed above 088/088 is a secret rare, so put those cards to one side first.
  • Sleeve the big pulls. Move special illustration rares and the Mega Hyper Rare into a penny sleeve and top loader straight away.
  • Track reverse holos separately. Every Rare and lower-rarity card has a reverse holo version, so a master set adds close to another main set’s worth of cards.
  • Trade for gaps. With six special illustration rares and one Mega Hyper Rare, trading with friends is often the quickest way to finish.
