Why It Appeals to 151 Fans
Scarlet & Violet—151 brought the original Kanto Pokémon back to the TCG when it released in English on 22 September 2023, as Bulbapedia’s 151 page records. The Blooming Waters collection celebrates two of the first partners from that era, giving you Bulbasaur and Squirtle alongside their final evolutions as Pokémon ex. Twelve packs also mean a long opening session, which makes it a generous present for a Kanto fan. Our Pokémon 151 guide compares the 151 products if you’re deciding between boxes.
Display Tips
The oversize Blastoise ex makes a striking shelf piece, so store it flat or put it in a frame. Sleeve the four foil cards straight away, then keep Bulbasaur with Venusaur ex and Squirtle with Blastoise ex for a tidy binder page. If you keep the box sealed, store it away from sunlight and damp.
