What’s in the Rarity Collection V Booster Box
- A sealed display of English 1st Edition Rarity Collection V packs
- 5 cards per pack, all foil
- 4 cards per pack from a main pool of around 80 tournament-level cards and old favourites
- 1 Special Variant Art card per pack, always an Ultra Rare or Starlight Rare
Variant Arts and Extended Arts
The official Rarity Collection V page explains that the fifth card in every pack comes from its own pool of 58 variant art cards plus 10 extended art cards, the first extended arts ever printed for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Examples include Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, Kurikara Divincarnate, Super Polymerization and Dominus Purge. Most variant arts add messaging-style catchphrases in English or Japanese, with new backgrounds, highlights and zoomed-in artwork.
Main Pool and Rarities
The main pool includes cards such as Chaos Angel, Kashtira Fenrir and Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade. They appear as Super, Ultra and Secret Rares, with upgraded Starlight, Platinum Secret and the “Prismatic”-style Ultimate and Collector’s Rares found only in Rarity Collection sets. Konami counts Quarter Century Bonanza and Quarter Century Stampede as the third and fourth sets in the series. Pack contents are random, so no specific card is guaranteed.
