How Blind Boxes Work
A blind box is a sealed package where the design inside stays secret until you open it. Wikipedia’s gashapon article explains how the idea grew from Japanese capsule machines into blind-box collectables sold in cardboard packaging. Opening a full display gives you plenty to share out, and any duplicates make easy swaps with friends or fellow collectors. Shops often keep the CDU on the counter so customers can pick a box at random, while collectors tend to open the whole display together and compare what they’ve found.
Who It’s For
The CDU suits collectors who enjoy opening several boxes in one sitting, parents filling party bags or stockings, and shops that want a ready-made counter display. A bag clip is practical too: clip it to a school bag, backpack or deck bag so your favourite design comes everywhere with you. Keep unopened boxes in a dry place, away from strong sunlight, so the packaging stays crisp.
