- 5 Ultra Rares in every pack
- 3 bonus Secret Rares, each with a chance to upgrade to Starlight Rare
- Cards from a 126-card set
Reimagined Anime Cards
The official Magnificent Monsters page reveals 18 reimagined cards with new abilities, three for each hero of the first six series, such as Dark Magician, the Pharaoh’s Servant for Yugi, Stardust Dragon – Victim Sanctuary for Yusei and Decode Talker Integration for Playmaker. Each comes as a playable Ultra Rare, with extended art Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare versions too; the Starlight Rares use the newer rainbow borders.
Only these 18 cards also come as Grand Master Rares, a new rarity with hieroglyphic borders, serial-numbered from 001 to 100. Copies distributed from Europe carry an “E” after the serial number.
More in the Set
You’ll also find 20 new or variant art cards, including Orichalcos Sword of Sealing and Rainbow Bridge Bifrost, six new boss monsters (one for each Special Summoning type), 40 cards foiled for the first time, 40 returning foils and 10 “chibi” variant arts. It’s a great box for players who want striking new versions of anime favourites in their Decks. Cards are randomly assigned within each slot, so no particular card is guaranteed.
