Who It’s For
Collector chests make a good gift because there’s plenty to open and the chest becomes storage afterwards. Ralts and Kirlia lead to Gardevoir and Riolu evolves into Lucario, so this chest suits fans of those two Mega Evolutions. Mega Latias and Mega Mawile complete the artwork, a nice nod to the return of Mega Evolution in the current series. Younger collectors can fill the mini portfolio straight away and use the stickers on folders and notebooks.
Chest or Elite Trainer Box?
An Elite Trainer Box gives you more packs from one set plus sleeves and dice for play. The Fall 2025 Collector Chest is more of a gift set: packs from several expansions, three promos and fun extras in a reusable tin. If the person you’re buying for mainly wants to play, the ETB is the more practical choice; if they love unpacking a box of goodies, the chest is the more exciting one.
