What’s in the Surging Sparks 3-Pack Blister
- 3 Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks booster packs
- 1 foil Quagsire promo card, numbered SVP 156
Bulbapedia’s Quagsire SVP 156 page confirms that this promo came in the Surging Sparks three-pack blisters, printed with a cosmos holofoil finish. That makes the blister the most direct way to add this particular promo to your binder.
About Surging Sparks
Surging Sparks has 252 English cards, led by Stellar Tera Pikachu ex, with Alolan Exeggutor ex, Latias ex and Archaludon ex also highlighted by Pokémon. It includes nine Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, nine other Pokémon ex and eight ACE SPEC cards. Pack contents are random, so no particular card is guaranteed. Our Surging Sparks chase cards guide lists the cards collectors hunt and the other sealed formats.
Who It Suits
Three packs and a promo is a smaller step than a six-pack booster bundle or an Elite Trainer Box, which makes the blister a good fit for a birthday or stocking gift. Quagsire fans and promo collectors get a card they can’t pull from booster packs, and the three packs give a fair taste of the whole set.
Once it’s open, put the Quagsire promo into a sleeve and toploader. Holofoil promos scratch easily, and a little care keeps the card in binder condition for years.
