What’s in the Chinese Zacian V-UNION Gift Box
- 1 set of 4 Zacian V-UNION foil cards
- 1 small-format Zacian-themed binder that holds up to 128 cards
Both items are listed on the Pokémon China Connected Quartet page, and Bulbapedia’s Connected Quartet entry) numbers the cards as promos 013 to 016 of 20.
How V-UNION Cards Work
A Pokémon V-UNION is four cards that combine into one large Pokémon on the table. It can’t be played straight from your hand, and if it’s Knocked Out your opponent takes three Prize cards. Zacian V-UNION is a Metal-type attacker, and Pokémon China highlights its 340-damage attack as strong enough to Knock Out most Pokémon.
Who It’s For
Laid out across a binder page, the four cards form one large Zacian illustration, which makes this an easy pick for Zacian fans and Sword & Shield collectors. The box isn’t a playable deck by itself; Pokémon China suggests combining it with other products to play. The light, pocket-sized binder also works well as a trade folder for events.
Chinese Box vs Other Editions
Bulbapedia notes that this box mirrors the V-UNION special card sets sold in other Asian regions, with one difference: the Professor Burnet Supporter card released with Zacian V-UNION elsewhere is not included here. It later appeared in the Simplified Chinese Polychromatic Gathering expansion, so the Chinese box focuses purely on Zacian.
