Pokémon 30th Celebration

What Is the Pokémon 30th Celebration?

Pokémon began in Japan in 1996, and the 30th Celebration products are the trading card game’s way of marking three decades of the series. The range mixes new booster products with collector pieces that look back across every generation, from Kanto to Paldea.

Like most special sets, the 30th Celebration releases differ by language. Japanese and Chinese products arrive on their own schedules, and the English range has its own line-up of boxes and collections. Each product card on this page shows its language badge, so you always know which version you’re looking at.

30th Celebration Products by Type

Booster boxes, bundles and packs

For opening, start with a 30th Celebration booster box. We stock the Japanese and Chinese booster boxes, plus the English booster bundle and single English booster packs. A full box is the best way to see a wide spread of the set at once, while bundles and single packs are a lighter way to join in.

Elite Trainer Box and premium collections

The English 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box combines packs with sleeves, dice and a storage box, making it a favourite gift. Premium collections such as the Sylveon ex and Greninja ex boxes add featured promo cards, while the Knock Out Collection and Tech Sticker Collection pair packs with extras.

Japanese 30th Celebration card sets

The Japanese card sets celebrate each generation’s starter Pokémon, from Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle through to Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. They’re a lovely way to collect a favourite generation, and many collectors aim to complete the whole run. Japan also has the Premium Deck Set featuring Espeon ex and Umbreon ex.

Futuristic boxes, gift boxes and figures

At the top end of the range sit collector pieces such as the Japanese MEGA 30th Celebration Futuristic Box and Chinese gift boxes, including the Prismatic Future Gift Box and the Charizard Premium Figure Gift Box. These are display-worthy pieces that combine cards with exclusive packaging or figures.

English, Japanese or Chinese 30th Celebration?

• English suits players and anyone collecting in English. See all English Pokémon products.
• Japanese brings the starter card sets, the Premium Deck Set and the Futuristic Box. Browse Japanese Pokémon cards.
• Chinese includes gift boxes, deluxe tins, display sets and figures you won’t find in other languages. See Chinese Pokémon products.

If you want one product from each language, a Japanese booster box, an English Elite Trainer Box and a Chinese deluxe tin make a great 30th Celebration trio for any shelf.

Pre-orders and Availability

Some 30th Celebration products are listed as pre-orders, and the product name shows the expected date where we have one. Everything else on this page is ready to order now. Use the in-stock filter to narrow the list, or email sales@obsidiatcg.co.uk if you have a question about a 30th Celebration release.

Looking After Your 30th Celebration Collection

Anniversary products are made to be kept. Store sealed boxes flat, away from sunlight and damp, and keep your best pulls in sleeves and toploaders. If you’re displaying premium collections, an acrylic case protects the packaging from dust and scuffs.
