- Pokémon TCG booster packs
- A reusable collector’s tin
Pack counts and pack mixes varied between regional versions of these tins, so specific expansions aren’t guaranteed. Bulbapedia’s Tyranitar V card page records the SWSH109 promo and its release in the V Strikers Tins.
About Tyranitar V
Tyranitar V is a Darkness-type Basic Pokémon V with 230 HP. Its first English print came in Battle Styles (097/163), released in March 2021, the set that brought Single Strike and Rapid Strike Pokémon into the game. The tin’s SWSH109 Black Star Promo is a separate print, so Tyranitar collectors building a complete run of the card will want both versions.
Who It’s For
Tyranitar fans, Sword & Shield collectors and anyone who enjoys opening packs from earlier years will all find something here. Tyranitar has been a fan favourite since its Johto debut, and the Pokémon V version gives it a big, bold card to match. Pair it with the Empoleon V Tin, its partner in the V Strikers range, to own both designs. Once opened, the tin works as storage for a deck or spare cards, and kept sealed it makes a tidy display piece from the 2021 product line.
